Renovating a 66 m² flat in Les Corts: an open kitchen and a second bathroom

Full renovation of a late-1950s flat on Joan Gamper street that still had its original layout. The kitchen grows and opens onto the living-dining room, a second bathroom is added and all services and finishes are renewed.

The brief

A bathroom and kitchen that were too small

The flat, in a late-1950s building, was in its original state. The bathroom and kitchen were very small for today’s expectations.

Following the goals of the client, a company, we proposed reorganising the spaces: a larger kitchen open to the living-dining room, a second bathroom and complete renewal of services and finishes.

The living area

A kitchen that opens to the living room

More space to cook and spend time together.

The kitchen gains space and joins the living-dining room, forming a bright, continuous living area. Light wooden floors and neutral walls reinforce the sense of space.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Two bathrooms where there was one

More comfort for everyday life.

The new layout makes room for a second bathroom and organises access to the bedrooms from a clear corridor. The bathrooms combine ceramics and wooden units for a warm, practical finish.
