The inspection

We have visited Sant Joan afterwards, a quick visit since our office in St Feliu de Llobregat is nearby. The building in question is in the center, in the first urban expansion of the 60s-70s.

We have found a load-bearing wall structure starting from the first floor, on the ground floor, since a clearer floor plan of walls is needed, there are load-bearing columns on isolated foundation footings.

In the inspection we have been able to see the footings since there was a small basement that left one of them partially uncovered. Do not worry that the building was not barefoot (this is when there is no ground under the foundation: (((((()

And also, we have verified (what great news) that despite being built in a suspicious 50 – 70 era. The chairman of the staircase has shown us the tasting plan and the result of the aluminosis tests carried out by a technical architect about 10 years ago. All concrete pathologies were ruled out in the report.

So we have come out happy because we always like to have a building without problems. We finish the job quickly and the client is much happier.
