Last August we carried out the technical inspection of the building (ITE) of a building located on Marquesa Caldes de Montbui street, in the Horta neighborhood, belonging to the municipality of Barcelona.

The building and its surroundings

The building was built in 1969, it consists of 5 upper floors for housing and a ground floor for commercial use. The building has one dwelling per floor and a single commercial premises, leaving a total of 6 entities.

The technical inspection of the building

The vertical structure of the building is made up of load-bearing walls combined with interlocking walls and the horizontal structure is made up of unidirectional flat floors with spans of approximately 5 meters.

The envelope is made up of single-sheet facades with a brickwork finish, a dividing wall in direct contact with the adjacent building, a flat roof with self-protected sheet and a slab in contact with the ground.

As the building is in front in a set of open blocks, it has 3 facades that guarantee good natural lighting in the homes and facilitate proper ventilation.
