Change of use in Nou Barris: from bar-restaurant to a three-bedroom home

Conversion of an 86 m² restaurant unit on Sabastida street into a rental home. Once planning feasibility was confirmed, simple works with drywall partitions created a large living-dining-kitchen space, a bathroom and three bedrooms, with individual air conditioning in each room.

The brief

Making the most of a change of tenant

The owner had the unit let as a bar-restaurant and decided to use the tenant’s departure to turn it into a home and let it under the new use.

The first step was to check that it met the applicable planning requirements. With feasibility confirmed, we drew up the design and supervised the works through to the certificate of habitability.
